I Love Weed Added May 29, 2006 I guess I have earned such a cool reputation amongst my colleagues at the renowned university of California, San Diego. I have decided from this day forth that one day I will stop chilling with my infamous lady friend Mary Jane. We have been though a lot me and her. I remember we used to talk on the phone everyday at first. Then we became even closer almost like how Mary was Jesus' "favorite" friend. Well it really is used to now. We have slowly broken up now; my lack of energy and my lung capacity has made me think twice about calling her up. I did call her up on Monday though. I was happy to see her. It felt like seeing an old friend. I feel bad for putting her down at times but oh well. I have to be selfish with who I spend my time with now. Hopefully I will never call her again. Sometimes I pick up the phone and call then hang up before the call goes through. Oh well. I have become my own master of late. I haven't been scheduling my schedule around Mary anymore. She doesn't really call anymore either because I don't chill with her friends anymore. Either they have graduated or I have runaway from them. I try to chill with people that don't like her anymore. I've been playing basketball of late. It's pretty fun unless you get picked last or get rejected by someone three years younger than you...twice. I can't say I know how it feels to be rejected by the youthful hands of a freshman but I am guessing it is a very humbling experience. Not only is the experience embarrassing but it hurts the confidence and makes one not want to play ball anymore. I wish I was a freshman again. People might think that is the lowest status in college but at times it is the highest status. It is a time where potential is all that is needed. Now it is not ok to have just potential. It is so easy for one to just give up and graduate without a feeling of pride. To graduate with potential far from ones reach is the path that I see before me. Watching others live their lives while struggling to live up to mine gives me reason to live. I look forward to waking up to a turtle in the future. Sobriety has caused much anxiety. Having no one I am willing to spend my time with leads me to write. Maybe it is time to lower my standards. Get ready for the life I will have and take the easy way out as usual. Taking the easy way out is cool until it catches up to you. It is about to catch up. Just like before you cum your dick tenses up. Well my dick is tense but not because I am being satisfied but because I am masturbating. But I stop knowing satiation will only come with female participation. Should I get close to someone just so I could fuck? This struggle within will last until my status is parallel with my standards. Do we know what we want? I remember from day one always wanting a pristine princess. Now it seems that will only lead to me letting the other party down. So not only am I struggling with my own life but now I am making someone else struggle over their own happiness because the person they are investing in is not living up to their standards. Live up to my standards. Live up to her standards. I miss being confident. One year left to change directions. Should I chill on the downhill and be forced to lower my standards or battle uphill and reach my potential? Get a cool job; leading to happiness which will lead me to choose between countless opportunities instead of giving up dreams and living life unfulfilled. Will life just be waiting for the next high or will I make my own high? Maybe I will keep up with my peers. Hopefully I can create regrets for others instead of creating regrets for myself. Hopefully my current friends will be my future friends. Hopefully the easy way out will be unacceptable soon.
